It is with deep regret that, like all other major events this summer, we have to cancel this year’s Bas Under Buen in July due to the Corona virus outbreak. Not that it was an unexpected decision by the government to put restrictions on larger assemblies. It was in the cards. However, we had hoped for the best, and worked with the prospect that the virus had been confined sufficiently so that we could carry out the events. But it should not be.
Given the effect it has already had on society, it is the right decision.
STOP PRESS!!!
Bas Under Buen 2020 – digital edition – is now a reality.
On Saturday the 11th of July we will live stream the full originally booked line up. For a total of 8 hours and 3 hours of after party, the bass will be delivered through your channel and speakers of choice. Link up and watch as we have teamed up with the incredible Hackstage crew to bring you a visual bombardment throughout the day.
This will be a no-live-audience event. Only reachable from a digital feed. But gather your friends and enjoy all the great artists as you would have under Bispeengbuen. Watch and reminisce – the bass lives on!
And remember, look out for each other and follow the official guidelines for showing consideration and keeping your distance.
Bas Under Buen returns ..
—
Bas Under Buen is the biggest bass event of the year in Denmark. In several cities thousands of people get together for this annual urban takeover and enjoy the sounds of Reggae, Dub, Garage, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and everything in between. All Danish artists, all for free. Bas Under Buen is organized by Danish bass pioneers OHOI!. Since 2002 they have delighted Copenhageners with bass heavy events and persistently pushed the aforementioned genres to a steady growing audience.
